THE PLAYBOOK STARTING LINEUP: ROSALINDA GALLEGOS
The Playbook platform is built by licensed mental health and medical providers working across Olympic, collegiate, and pro sports. Our core team applied evidence-based methods and best practices, translating them into digital tools designed specifically for athletes and teams in the sports ecosystem.
We tell you about our platform all the time–now, we’d like to tell you about the people who bring it to life:
MEET ROSALINDA GALLEGOS
HEAD OF CUSTOMER SUCCESS & OPERATIONS LEAD
As Operations Lead at The Playbook, I help bring our mission to life through strategy, structure, and collaboration. I oversee daily operations, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure that every project reflects our shared commitment to athlete wellness.
My role supports the heart of The Playbook’s mission.
My work is about more than just efficiency—it’s about building systems that support people, not just processes. I focus on optimizing operations, strengthening communication, and aligning our goals with impact.
Whether managing our CRM, enhancing user experience, or nurturing relationships with our diverse partners — including the NFL, NBA, higher education institutions and others, my work ensures that our platform continues to grow with intention and care.
Every task is connected to one purpose: creating a safe and inclusive space for athletes to access the mental health resources they need and deserve.

With over two decades of experience in community outreach, leadership, and mental health advocacy, I’ve dedicated my work to helping others heal, grow, and find balance.
My journey began in service—supporting youth, families, and communities across California—and has evolved into a lifelong commitment to holistic wellness and empowerment.
I have authored and advocated for change in county, city, and statewide policy, working to expand access to mental health resources and equitable systems of care.
As the founder of SEED Consulting LLC, I guide individuals and organizations through personal growth, leadership development, and emotional well-being.
My approach is grounded in compassion, mindfulness, and values-driven leadership, always centered on the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and whole.
MY WHY:
My “why” is simple, but deeply rooted.
I do this work because I believe that wellness is not just about performance; it’s about wholeness, purpose, and the courage to keep showing up for yourself and others.
I believe in the power of healing and the transformative nature of human connection. I’ve witnessed how transformative it is when someone feels truly heard, valued, and supported. That’s what drives me. At The Playbook, I’m honored to be part of a movement that redefines how we talk about and care for mental health in sports.
My favorite moments are spent with my three children — the heart of my “why.” They inspire me every day to lead with compassion, strength, and purpose, and to keep creating spaces where others feel seen and supported.
I believe that building systems for wellness begins with the same mindset as writing:
in
tentionality, empathy, and the courage to go deep.
MY STORY:
Beyond my leadership at The Playbook, I continue to make an impact through my writing and coaching — helping others find healing, understanding, and personal growth.
My life is filled with the same practices I write about — mindful mornings with tea, self-reflections, and gratitude journaling. I find peace in gardening, often drawing parallels between nurturing plants and nurturing people. Each season reminds me that growth often happens quietly, beneath the surface.
My books were born from a simple question:
What if healing began with understanding?
My writing journey grew out of my work in the community and my own story of resilience. As a teen mom and lifelong advocate, I saw firsthand how silence and stigma keep people from seeking help. As the author of Understanding Alcohol Abuse: The Truth Behind the Struggle, Healing Through Understanding: A Suicide Prevention Guidebook, and Mindful You: A 30-Day Workbook for Mental Wellness & Inner Peace, my books are more than guides — they’re bridges between lived experience and emotional recovery, offering readers tools to navigate pain, rediscover hope, and move toward healing.
At The Playbook, these same principles shape my leadership — integrating awareness, compassion, and emotional intelligence into every operational decision.
My FAVORITE FEATURE OF THE PLAYBOOK:
My favorite thing about the Playbook App is the visibility and validation I get when I enter my mood during my daily check-in.
Seeing my moods span a color-coded calendar makes me more self-aware and helps me identify passing phases, difficult times, areas for improvement, and streaks of positivity.
Recording my mood every day shows me that I can build new, healthy habits, and it gives me one more reason to look forward to looking at the past.
